Shafer Relentless 2017 is a Napa Valley red from vineyards beside the Stags Leap District, composed of 86% Syrah and 14% Petite Sirah. Black plum, blackberry, herbs, grilled game, leather, vanilla, river stone and spice carry through a rich, vibrant palate with ripe silky tannins. Decant before serving with grilled beef, roast lamb, braised meats or aged cheese.
