Opus One 2018 is a Napa Valley red led by 84% Cabernet Sauvignon with Petit Verdot, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec. Blackberry, cassis and black cherry open into violet, white pepper and rose petal, followed by orange zest, licorice and dark chocolate. Smooth tannins, fresh acidity and 17 months in new French oak create a creamy texture and a long, persistent finish.
