Maybach Materium Magnum 2023 is a 1.5 L Cabernet Sauvignon from the Weitz Vineyard on Oakville’s eastern hillside in Napa Valley. Dark cherry, blackberry and dark plum meet mocha, roasted coffee, milk chocolate and cedar. The palate is richly layered yet balanced, with ripe fruit, measured acidity and broad, gravelly tannins that carry a persistent finish. The magnum format is suited to celebrations and extended cellaring; serve near cellar temperature with roast beef, lamb, braised short ribs or aged cheeses, and decant before drinking.
