Yellow Chartreuse is a historic French herbal liqueur created in 1840 and still made by the Carthusian Fathers from 130 plants, flowers, bark, roots, and spices. Bottled at 43% ABV, it is softer and sweeter than Green Chartreuse, with an intense golden-yellow color, a fresh spicy nose, and layered notes of turmeric, citrus, anise, and lingering florals. Enjoy it chilled at 12-13 C, over ice as a digestif, or in cocktails where its botanical depth and gentle sweetness add complexity.
