Carranco Villa dei Baroni Etna Rosso 2019 is an Etna DOC red made from Nerello Mascalese grown in estate vineyards on Mount Etna's volcanic soils. Fruit from vines around 50 years old gives the wine bright red-fruit character, herbal detail and the stony mineral tension associated with the appellation. Fresh acidity and fine tannins carry a spiced, savory finish that pairs well with roasted mushrooms, tomato-based pasta, grilled lamb or aged cheeses.
