Maybach Family Vineyards Amoenus Calistoga 2023 is a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon from a hillside vineyard on the western side of Calistoga in Napa Valley. Plum, boysenberry and black cherry aromas open into cassis, cocoa nib, violet, clove, loam and crushed rock. Concentrated dark fruit is balanced by precise acidity, silky tannins and a remarkably long floral finish. Serve near cellar temperature with grilled beef, lamb, braised short ribs or aged hard cheeses, and decant before drinking.
