Hamel Family Stratum Red Wine 2021

Hamel Family Stratum Red Wine 2021 is a Cabernet Sauvignon-led Sonoma Valley blend shaped by the estate's volcanic soils. Black cherry, blackberry and raspberry open into sage, wild herbs, rose petal and iron-rich mineral notes, while ripe plum and pomegranate carry through a focused palate with tightly knit, chalky tannins. The blend is 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 32% Merlot, 14% Cabernet Franc and 1% Zinfandel, aged in French oak and concrete for layered texture and freshness. Serve near cellar temperature with roast beef, lamb, grilled mushrooms or aged cheese, or cellar through the late 2020s. 14.1% ABV.
